How to bring the Tactiq transcript into the meeting
Step by step to connect Tactiq and bring the summary and transcript of a recorded meeting into the XBASE Calendar.

Bring the summary and the transcript of a meeting recorded in Tactiq into the meeting in the XBASE Calendar. What was discussed stays in the contact's history and the team can read it.
It only works with a paid Tactiq plan. On the free plan, XBASE finds the recording, but Tactiq doesn't release the summary or the transcript.
The transcript always lives inside an XBASE meeting. If you open a Calendar meeting (booked through XBASE or one that exists only in your Google Calendar) after it has ended, XBASE finds the right recording by its time (the names of the participants help confirm it). Recorded a meeting that isn't on any calendar? Use Import from Tactiq: XBASE creates the completed meeting, linked to the contact you choose.
What you need
- A Tactiq account with a paid plan that releases the transcript to other apps. On the authorization screen, Tactiq points to the Business plan.
- An XBASE Calendar meeting that has already ended (booked through XBASE or one that exists only in your Google Calendar). If it isn't on any calendar, see the last step.
- Having recorded the meeting with Tactiq.
- Knowing who will see the transcript: it's in Meeting transcripts with Tactiq.
Step by step
Open the meeting
After the end time, open the meeting from the Calendar, from the contact's Meetings tab, from the Chatcenter or from the Funnel. Scroll down to the Transcript section.
Connect Tactiq (first time only)
Click Connect Tactiq, sign in to your Tactiq account and authorize XBASE. You're taken back to the same meeting, already connected.
Check the suggested recording
XBASE searches your Tactiq for recordings made close to the meeting time and shows "We found the recording in your Tactiq", with the title, the time, the duration and who took part.
Confirm
If it's the right recording, click Use this transcript. If not, click Choose another recording and, in the list, Use this recording.
Read the summary and the transcript
The Tactiq summary appears in the section. To read everything that was said, click View full transcript.
Recording without a Calendar meeting? Import it
In the Calendar, click Tactiq recordings (or, on the contact, Import from Tactiq). Choose the recording, click Import, check the contact and the Meeting title and click Import. XBASE creates the meeting as already held, with the summary and the transcript.
What to expect
The meeting now shows the summary and the transcript, with the "Linked by" line and the date. The meeting cards get the Transcript badge, and anyone who can see the meeting also sees what was discussed.
To remove it, click Remove transcript: the copy is removed from XBASE and nothing changes in Tactiq.
