How to install XBASE as an app on your phone and computer

Put an XBASE icon on your phone or computer screen, like an app. It opens in its own window, without the browser bar, and goes straight into the dashboard. No app store needed: it's the same dashboard you use in the browser.
What you need
- An XBASE account. The install option only appears after you sign in: the website and the login screen don't offer it.
- The right browser: Chrome or Edge on a computer and on Android, Safari on iPhone.
Step by step
Sign in to your account
Open XBASE in the browser and sign in to your account. Right after you sign in, the dashboard shows the Install the XBASE app notice:
- on a phone, at the bottom of the screen;
- on a computer, in the bottom right corner.
Install from the notice
- Computer and Android (Chrome or Edge): click Install in the notice and confirm in the browser window.
- iPhone (Safari): the notice has no install button, only the path. Tap Share (the square with an arrow pointing up), then Add to Home Screen and, finally, Add.
If the notice doesn't appear, install from the browser
- Computer: click the install icon on the right side of the address bar, or open the browser menu (⋮) and look for the option to install XBASE.
- Android: tap the Chrome menu (⋮) and choose the install option (Install app or Add to Home screen, depending on the version).
- iPhone: follow the path from the previous step in Safari: Share → Add to Home Screen → Add.
Open XBASE from the icon
The XBASE icon appears on your phone's home screen or in your computer's app menu. When you open it, it goes straight into the dashboard. If you're not signed in, the login screen opens.
What to expect
XBASE opens in its own window, without the browser bar, straight into the dashboard. It's the same dashboard you use in the browser, with the same account, and updates arrive without you having to update anything. Inside the installed app, the install notice no longer appears.
